You will choose an area where genocide has occurred or is occurring. You may focus on the people group that is being eliminated, the politics behind the genocide, the leader or tyrant who is spearheading the atrocities, or some other similar aspect. Your goal will be to bring a global awareness to our class and to our community. The event you choose must be within the past 30 years.

Objective Research Paper

Create an objective essay that represents a subject of interest. Voice is typically in third person and is an honest representation of what you learn. An objective essay does not include personal interpretation. Your audience is your class members and your paper must be informative and interesting to them.
You must use at least 4 outside sources. You must also have a “Works Cited” page, and the entire paper must be adequately and appropriately documented in the MLA style.
